NEWS RELEASE, Norfolk, NE - 6/20/02
TRU MARK ATHLETIC
FIELD MARKER USED FOR TRAFFIC ZONE MARKING
E-100 walk-behind athletic field marker
demonstrated the capability to apply acrylic latex traffic
zone marking paints in recent factory and field tests. The
12-volt 3.3 gallons per minute electric pump supplies sufficient
pressure and volume to one of the spray nozzles for a professional
looking 4" line. The traffic zone marking paint was diluted
with either 16 ounces of water or 16 ounces of latex paint
conditioner to 1 gallon of paint. This demonstrated capability
adds a new opportunity for customers to use the E-100 as a
3-in-1 sprayer: field marking, traffic zone marking, and herbicide
application.
Tru Mark Athletic Field Marker, Norfolk,
NE, manufactures the E-100. Mark Hall Vice President of Operations
demonstrated this new capability at the 27th Annual Nebraska
Turfgrass Foundation Field Day, June 11, 2002, a University
of Nebraska Agronomy Department hosted event at their Mead,
NE facilities. Mr. Hall also presented a field lining maintenance
cost reduction program at the Nebraska Sportsturf Managers
Association Chapter Field Day, June 19, 2002, in North Platte,
NE.
Tru Mark Athletic Field Marker also
produces and sells a RS-500 self-propelled field marker that
is capable of applying more than 250 linear feet of 4" line
per minute. The two 20 gallon tanks make it a long endurance
marker for large sport complex operations. If you have multiple
field locations, Tru Mark produces the Paint Mule, a utility
trailer to carry the RS-500 or three E-100s, 40 gallons of
liquid, pumping transfer equipment, and storage for tools
and supplies.
